SWS x FACT Capital Stock Pitch Competition

Harvard Undergraduate SWS is hosting the Women in Finance (WIF) Stock Pitch Competition at Harvard University. The WIF Stock Pitch Competition offers students a chance to engage in public equities investing by identifying a potentially undervalued or mispriced company and presenting a thorough analysis of the investment opportunity.

Teams are allowed to cross-register with undergraduates from any school and are able to register in groups of 2-4. Submit your L/S investment memo, 10-page slide deck, and model for a chance to win over $1,000 in prizes.

Overview & Guidelines

Preliminary round submissions are due Friday, October 24th at 11:59 PM. No late submissions will be accepted.

Three finalists will be selected to present in-person during the Women in Finance conference, judged by representatives from FACT Capital on Saturday, November 8th.

      • Friday, October 24th

      • Only 1 person per team should submit this form to register your team.

      • Use the following naming conventions:

        • Stock Pitch: TEAMNAME_TICKER_LONG/SHORT.pdf

        • Resume: TEAMNAME_FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME.pdf

    • Finalists Announced

      • Wednesday, October 29th

    • Final Round at Harvard University—all are encouraged to attend the Women in Finance Conference. There will be a networking session and recruiting mixer afterwards.

      • Saturday, November 8th

    • Prepare a 1-2 page investment memo in PDF format of your thesis, analysis, and investment recommendation. Feel free to use bullet points whenever appropriate.

    • Each team must submit a financial model.

    • Prepare a maximum 10-slide deck (optional appendix not included in slide count) to present if selected as a finalist.

    • The final round is scheduled to take place at 1 PM at Harvard University.

    • The round will be judged by representatives from FACT Capital. There will be a networking session and recruiting mixer following the competition for students and professionals.

    • If your team qualifies as a finalist, please prepare a 10-15 minute presentation based on your deck submission. Each presentation will be followed by a 5-minute Q&A section.
